In his own words

I loved the sounds of Europe, Bon-Jovi & Def Leppard in the 80's and hoped one day I could do what the did for a living. It was partly the showmanship, but also the technical dexterity of the playing.

So I formed a school band at the age of 14 (on guitar) playing Sex Pistols songs (as they were easy to play) and also 50's rock 'n' roll (as they were pretty similar). I then started taking music seriously and found myself in demand with friends who wanted me to play on school exam compositions.

In 2004 I saw SACRED HEART supporting one of my hero's Kee Marcello in Camden, London. I was impressed by their playing & by the fact I went home, still with their songs in my head!

I joined them in '05 as bassist and had 2 great years of gigging & recording with them - the highlight being the Cambridge Rock Festival in 2007. Unfortunately the pressures of work set in & I found the balance difficult - but remained good friends with the guys.

I was delighted to be invited back for a jam and found it easy to settle back in. As well as the pop-rock tunes & the more modern sound with down-tuned guitars we also do some fun crowd pleasing covers.

All the songs - old & new - are sounding great, and all of us in SACRED HEART are very excited about playing live again.
